Eight cygnets have hatched
This is two more than last year. The swans have become a very popular feature with local people and visitors alike in recent years, and there is much curiosity in their progress each year. Their nest site is protected by metal barriers erected by Conwy County Borough Council. Let's hope all the cygnets survive, and go on to breed themselves. Swan numbers seem to have grown recently, and are a beautiful part of our natural landscape.
