The Town Twinning Association have organised the following events to help raise funds for the planned trip to Brittany in April of Llanfairfechan youngsters to take part in a football tornament.
Welsh Meal - 7.30pm, Saturday 3 March (COUNCIL CHAMBERS – TOWN HALL) (See menu below)
Zumba Dance - 2.00pm, Saturday 10 March (TOWN HALL)
Pub Quiz - 7.30pm, Friday 30 March (VILLAGE INN)
Coffee Mornings - 10.00am-12.00 noon, each Saturday (LLOYD HUGHES ROOM, TOWN HALL)
WELSH MEAL - MENU:
Leek & Potato Soup - Traditional leek soup served with crusty bread.
Anglesey Eggs - Leek & bacon with hard boiled eggs covered with hollandaise sauce.
Pate - Chicken liver and cointreau pate served with a side salad.
Fish Pie - Salmon, smoked haddock, cod & prawns & topped with a savoury mash. Served with seasonal vegetables.
Duck with black cherry sauce - Duck breast with black cherry and brandy sauce. Served with dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Lamb Shank - Oven roast with mint gravy. Served with dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Honey Glazed Gammon - Roast gammon with honey and mustard glaze. Served with dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Bara brith & Butter Pudding - Bread and butter style pudding with home made bara brith served with cream or ice cream.
Poached Spiced Pears - Pears poached in mulled wine. Served with cream or ice cream.
Cheese Board - A slection of Welsh cheese served with fruit and chutney.
