DON'T MISS LLANFAIRFECHAN CARNIVAL - SATURDAY 4 JULY 2009!

The biggest event in the Llanfairfechan community calendar is coming...

Carnival day commences at 12:45pm, with the judging of mounted tableaux, sections 9-15.

At 1:00pm, the visiting Queens' cars will be judged.

At 1:30pm, the Procession and Fancy Dress Parade will leave Parc Henblas, and proceed along Village Road and Station Road, arriving at the Promenade at approximately 2:15pm.

The procession will include:

• The Procession Band
• 2009 Carnival Court
• Queen KES and her Court
• Princess ALAW and her court
• Rose Queen CAITLIN and her Court
• Fairy Queen KEIRA and her Court
• Morris dancers, visiting Queens, pub floats, bikes, horse riders, fancy dress and the retiring 2008 Courts.
  

The timetable of events at the Promenade is as follows (All times approximate and subject to change without notice):

• 2:00pm - Band
  
• 2:30pm - Arrival of the Courts
  
• 2:50pm - Visiting Queens
  
• 3:00pm - Judging of walking fancy dress (sections 1-8)
  
• 3:30pm - Champion fancy dress (winners of all categories)
  
• 3:35pm - Miss Junior Llanfairfechan (ages 7-10)
  
• 3:40pm - Miss Llanfairfechan (ages 11 and over)
  
• 3:45pm - Mr. Handsome
  
• 3:50pm - Mr. Knobbly Knees
  
• 3:55pm - Tug of War competition
  
• 4:20pm - Raffles
  
  

Other attractions at the Promenade will include: Bouncy castle, funfair, hot dogs, charity stalls, ice cream, face painting, paint ball, climbing wall and more...
