Croquet Club

At last Monday's annual meeting, Jack Pattenden of Bodelwyddan was nominated and elected unopposed as the new chairman as John Hunt of Rhosneigr retired after three and a half years in the post.

Anwen Lloyd Williams was elected to serve as vice-chairman and the secretary (Georgina Llewellyn) and treasurer (Bill Lewis of Bangor) were returned unopposed.

The six elected members to the committee were Ruth Charlesworth, John Hunt, Graharn Lewis, Helen Pattenden (Bodelwyddan), Carolyn Ratcliff (Llandudno) and Malltwen Williams. Four trustees were appointed - John Hunt, Jean Morrison, Ken Thomas (Bangor) and Malltwen Williams. The tellers were Marion Williams (president) and Georgina Llewellyn.

It was agreed that the annual subscription be raised to 30 - payable at this annual meeting or during the next four weeks.

The Club will open on Easter Sunday when refreshments will be served to welcome the new playing season.
