The countdown has started… It’s now just over two weeks until the biggest event in the Llanfairfechan calendar – Llanfairfechan Carnival 2016. Don’t miss it!

This year’s Christmas lights will be switched on on Saturday 21 November 2015. A funfair will be in Village Road with stalls in the Community Centre. The funfair will commence at 2.00pm, with the arrival of Santa and the switching on of the lights at 6.30pm.

Please note: Village Road will be closed to traffic for this event from 12 noon to 9pm on Saturday 21 November.
The event has been organised by Light Up Llan, who have already installed many lights around the town.
This year’s annual service of remembrance will take place on Sunday 8 November 2015. A procession, led by the Mayor, will start from the Community Centre on Village Road, to the cenotaph on Aber Road. Please be present by 10.25am. The Remembrance Service will be held by the cenotaph on Aber Road at 10.45am. Pre-ordered poppy wreaths are available for collection from the Town Clerk’s office on Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings only, between 9.15am and 12.00 noon.
Wrestling tomorrow at the Town Hall. Doors open 6pm for 6.30 start. £5.00 entry, £10.00 VIP.
Carnival fundraiser. All welcome. Hot dogs, crisps, drinks and popcorn will all be on sale. Also coloured hairspray will be available (all money for hair spray is to be donated to Alder Hey) come along and join the fun.
If the weather is wet, he will be performing inside the Beach Pavilion cafe.
The annual Llanfairfechan Charity Pram Race starts at 6:00 pm on Sunday 30th August. The race starts at the far end of the prom and this year the money raised will go to the Wales Air Ambulance and Light Up Llan. The theme this year is music. Teams can be any size and the entry is £3 per person. Let’s make it a big one!
