Aunt Mimi’s Postcards

We were fortunate a little while ago to receive a set of postcards from Dympna Walsh, who lives in Ireland. In her own words:

I have come across a number of postcards which belonged to my aunt, who was a trainee nurse in St Andrew’s Hospital in Northampton. They are dated 1929. My Aunt’s name was Mary Francis Delahunty. She was known as ‘Mimi’. She obviously enjoyed her holidays during her training in St Andrew’s. I’m delighted that they will be of interest… Please consider them a gift from me in memory of my Aunt Mimi, who spent a very happy time in your town.

Thank you, Dympna (and Aunt Mimi!), for your generosity in sending us these postcards.
